This beautiful beachfront walk takes in shipwrecks, dunes packed with wildlife and bucketfuls of golden sand. Walk along the boardwalk and watch the waves crashing on the shoreline as you stroll past the numerous beaches in Porthcawl.

With golden beaches, funfairs and traditional seaside amusements, this easy stroll is perfect for younger visitors, you can't go wrong. Why not stop and take a break at one of the many cafe's on offer and take in the wonderful views.

Kenfig Nature Reserve is one of the UK's top wildlife conservation sites and is home to Glamorgans largest natural lake. Whether you’re looking for a short stroll or a longer walk, this Site of Special Scientific Interest is bursting with options. Take a break with a coffee and a cake from the Hyde Out and take in the beautiful views across Swansea Bay to the Gower over the lake.
